There was a lot of sickness on this voyage and five women died on the journey, according to the Journal of the Ship’s surgeon, Alexander Nesbet. Folio 2: Olive Kirkham, aged 33, Convict; sick or hurt, Fever; put on sick list, 21 September 1826; died 29 September 1826. National Archives, ADM 101/30/6/1
