… the following were capitally convicted and received sentence of death : … Simeon Knowles, for robbing the house of Stephen Smith, of Hingham ; … All the 14 capital convicts were reprieved, except the two Eggatts, who are to be executed on the Castle Hill on Saturday next.  Bury and Norwich Post, 9 April 1817.
