Joseph Konisky, indicted for robbing Thomas Sherwood, on the highway, the parish of Carisbrooke, in the Isle of Wight. The prosecutor and prisoner were both private soldiers; the former, on his way to Newport, called  at a public-house, and pulled out his money, which, it appears, was observed by the prisoner, who followed  him when he quitted the house, and took an opportunity to knock him down, and rob him of a 1£ note and some silver.  Guilty, Death. Salisbury Journal, 13 July 1812.
