Moreton Bay Register of Convicts. John Lampier, Shipley 1, Wilts Ass, 27 July 1816, Receiving stolen property, 14 years. Cobbler. Colonial sentence, Qr Sessions, Campbell Town, 12 Nov 1835, Larceny, 3 years Note, To Sydney, 16 Mar 1839.




John Lampier had a previous conviction and was sentenced to be transported for 7 years in 1809. He was on a prison hulk in Portsmouth harbour, and received a free pardon in March 1815. John Lampier, convicted of stealing a quantity of provisions, was also sentenced to be transported for seven years. Oxford University and City Herald, 25 Mar 1809 Prison Hulk records, HO 9-8-3 p 22. Received nine from Fisherton, 23 May 1809 John Lampier, age 14, convicted of a felony at New Sarum 11 March 1809, sentenced to 7 years transportation. Free Pardon, 17 March 1815.

Monday, the Assizes commenced at Salisbury, ….John Lampier was charged with burglariously entering the house of William Atkins, Trowbridge, and stealing therefrom about 1/- worth of halfpence, &c. Guilty – Death. Prison Hulk record, HO 9-8-4 p.34. Received from New Sarum, 9 Oct 1816 (6 prisoners) John Lampier, age 21, convicted of a felony at New Sarum, 27 July 1816, sentenced to transportation for 14 years. NSW 3 Dec 1816.
2/5/1817: On list of convicts forwarded to Parramatta for distribution. Listed as Lampshire. 20/11/1817: On list of convicts sent to Newcastle per 'Elizabeth Henrietta'. 31/8/1830: COF 1834 Married Sarah Brett at St. Lukes, Liverpool. She arrived per Rosalind Castle in 1830.
