Convict Notes
On Thursday the County High Sheriff received order from the Castle, to transmit the following convicts in the County Gaol under sentence of transportation to the Surprise hulk at Cove—Patrick Downey, Wm. Gee, James Coghlan, Patrick Bourke. Denis Ryan, Maurice Landy, Denis Bryan, Michael Regan and John Hanrahan. Same day the City Sheriffs received a similar order to forward the following convicts under like rule, to the same destination, Cornelius Regan, Thomas Browne, Wm. Higgins. Michael O’Brien. Thomas Browne. Patrick McNamara, and Thomas Heffernan. Kerry Evening Post, 5 Dec 1832.
