Henry Lappin, for assaulting Owen Con, and robbing him of £1. 13s, 6d. 20th April Owen Con, had been in Dungannon on last 20th August getting his pension; on returning home, the prisoner, whom he identifies, caught hold of him, without the least provocation, knocked him down and took from his person £1, 13s. 6d. ; when prisoner was taken he had the same clothes upon as when he committed the robbery.—Guilty.—Sentence of death recorded. Enniskillen Chronicle, 11 Aug 1831.
