Hugh LARKIN was convicted at Galway, Ireland for "assaulting habitation" in July 1833. He was a 'White Boy' rebel. Life sentence. Transported to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Parmelia' arriving 1834. Aged 25yrs; farm labourer; married, wife Esther & 2 children; Roman Catholic. Application made to the Govt for a free passage for wife Esther, but while granted, apparently never made it to NSW.
