Tasmania Police Gazette, 1st Mar 1872, p40. Prisoner discharged from HM Gaols & Houses of Correction, Launceston, the week ending 1 June 1872. James Lawler, per Lady Nugent, F.S. tried at Torquay on the 21 Mar 1872 of larceny, served 3 months, native place England, age 50yrs, 5 feet 9 inches, dark to grey hair. 1842, scar on upper lip.
