He was tried at Leeds Borough Quarter Sessions Yorkshire, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 15 7 1822 after a voyage of 3.5months on GUILDFORD. He was an emancipist butcher when he married Elizabeth (Perkins) on 7 10 1829 at St James CofE Sydney. He was Free by Servitude by 1830 & recorded as a butcher. [Some details taken from this Website] Elizabeth (Perkins) was born on 23 2 1811 & baptised on 25 12 1811 w/Sarah at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She is recorded in 1814 with her mother.
