The following are the convictions and sentences ; … Daniel Leary, for stealing Bank notes from the pocket of Hamilton, in Killarney. Guilty, transported for seven years. . ... He was convicted at Kerry on 24 March 1828 of robbing a person and sentenced to 7 years. He had no prior convictions.
