Tried 16 Mar 1789, Maidstone Kent, sentenced to 7yrs transportation beyond the seas George Lee was transferred to Censor Hulk at Woolwich 4th Dec 1789, aged 42 Embarked to NSW per the 3rd fleet ship Admiral Barrington - 27 Mar 1791, arriving at Port Jackson 16th Oct 1791 Transferred to Norfolk Island aboard Atlantic Nov 1791 In a relationship on Norfolk Island with Sarah Smith/Pantoney, likely fathering 2 children – 1) William Smith/Lee (1793-1870) 2) Maria Smith/Lee/Pantoney/Bloodworth (1796-1895) William Lee in his later life had stated that his father died on Norfolk Island some eight months before his sister was born. This ties in with the death date of George Lee. Note that the birth date of Maria is not 27 Aug 1796 as usually reported. This date is entry to stores on Norfolk Island, and will be at least 6mnths after birth due to weaning period George Lee died aged 49, 28th June 1796 on Norfolk Island
