The Journal of Thomas Braidwood Wilson, Surgeon Superintendent of the ship Richmond, records the convict's name as Gilderoy Lee (rather than Milderoy Lee), as do convict muster records. Wilson's journal gives Lee's occupation as Labourer. He died under sentence in Launceston Hospital. His age was recorded as 54, giving a date of birth of about 1798.
