Worcestershire Lent Assizes. Lea, James, aged 42, waterman, was found guilty of stealing on the 9th of December last, a bag containing various articles, the property of Jos. Phelps, of Upton-upon-Severn. The prisoner had been previously convicted, Transported for life. Worcestershire Chronicle, 15 March 1838. Removal of Convicts.- The following convicts, sentenced various terms of transportation, were removed  removed from our County Gaol to the hulk, at Woolwich : ... and Lea, robbery ; sentenced to transportation for life.
