LEICESTER ASSIZES. John Lee, for stealing a mare, the property of John Phipps, of Holbeach, Lincolnshire; Peter Bramhly, for stealing eight silver watches, and other articles, the property of John Birtles, Market Harborough; and John RiacLley,  for stealing sundry bank bills, value 6£. from the house of John Hollingshead, Saxelby,—being severally found guilty,  received sentence death. Stamford Mercury, 31 July 1812.  At Leicester assizes, three prisoners were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death, namely,- John Lee, for stealing a mare; Peter Bransley (a youth of 17,) for robbing his father's shop of eight silver watches, &c. and J. Mackley, for stealing  out of a dwelling house a 5£. and a 1£. Leicester bank note  and several other articles. Derby Mercury. 6 Aug 1812.
