Described in the Annotated Registers as being a native of Bristol; Age 17 years old; Status single; Religion Protestant. Convicted at Bridgewater on 18 August 1827 and was sentenced to transportation for life. Had no prior convictions. Height 5 feet 6 1/2 inches; complexion ruddy; Hair Dark brown and Hazel eyes. Assigned on arrival to Mr Robert Crawford at Prospect. He was eventually to be assigned to Mr James Wright at Lanyon. Lanyon now located in the southern part of Canberra, ACT.
