Priscilla Lee was brought up Benji. Loversall, an Italian, charged with robbing him on the night of Jan. 30, of £2 15s. in the Ship public house. A friend of the prosecutor interpreted for him, and proved the case, when the Court committed Priscilla for trial. Sheffield Iris, 18 Feb 1843. Priscilla Lee (28) charged with stealing money and purse, at Sheffield, from the person of Beni Loversolli, his property. —The prosecutor is Italian, and being unable to speak English, his cousin. Anthony Lorersolli, acted as interpreter. It appeared the prosecutor was at the Ship public house, in Water-lane, on the 30th of January. The prisoner was there also, and on his going into the yard, he was followed the woman, when the robbery was committed; she was missing for nine or ten days after the robbery and when she was found she was dressed in new clothes.—She was found guilty, and sentenced transported tor the term of ten years. Sheffield Iris, 25 Feb 1843.
