From Cork, on Tuesday last, whence she sailed the 24th June last, the ship, Hooghley,309 tons, Captain Reeves, with- 184 female prisoners. Children Born; Mary A 1844, Eliza 1846, Thomas Jr 18.12.1848, Sarah A 1845, George 1852, Joseph Henry 1854, John James 1857, Alicia 1859, Alfred William 1859, Caroline Isabella 1862. I have not confirmed all these facts as yet but many/most are right.Hi I am Leslie Lee I am Great Great Grandson of Thomas & Mary, My Great Grandfather Thomas Jr who moved to Kempsey NSW from Goulburn NSW whose son James Kennedy Lee b 21.8.1887 is my Grandfather, my father is Richard Edward. I have some limited photos which includes a poor photo copy of a painting or photo of Thomas Lee, someone must have the original and information regarding many of T & M children, The family bible with mostof this info was in the hands of my Grandfathers brothers GGDaughter who has passed away before I got to view it,hope her children may have it. I have focused a bit on my line but picked up others along the way. I had started a family tree on Genealogy Aus but subscription finished. If you have any info or relics such as photos feel free to contact me. leslee01@outlook.com, I gained a lot of info from St Clare House in Goulburn. I have photos of resting place of Thomas, Mary & some children as well as the house they built known as Leeville. The library has micro-fish etc. I will add more later.
Thomas Lee was my great great grandfather and his son Thomas (1848-1922) my great grandfather. He became a builder in Goulburn.
Thomas Lee who married Mary Clarke in 1842 at St Lawrences, Sydney (Ref No: V1842198 26C/1842)is my great, great grand father. I am a decendant from their son George who also had a George, who had my mother then me.

Thomas Lee was my great-grandfather. He received a Ticket of Leave 43/2785 but had to remain in the Goulburn District for the period of his sentence. Granted Conditional Pardon 48/2200 on 15th November, 1848. He married Mary Clarke in 1842 and they lived in the Goulburn district until their deaths. They had 11 children. Thomas became a successful builder and built many public and other buildings in ?Goulburn. He died on 9th July, 1901.
