Oculist and optician. Native of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Surgeon's report reads "very well behaved, Body marks: Stout made. – cannot speak English – Wears blue spectacles, eyes: brown, hair: dark brown, family: Married 3 Children Wife Eliza at Amsterdam, height: 5 ft 21/4"
