He was tried at Surrey Assizes on 25 7 1796, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW on 18 5 1798 after a voyage of 8.5monyhs on BARWELL. He married firstly Jane (Martin) on 3 2 1803 at St James CofE Sydney. He was recorded in 1806 at Parramatta.>>> Jane (Martin) was tried at Waterford Ireland, sentenced to 7years arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 7 1802 after a voyage of 7months on ATLAS. She died on 25 2 1803 & was buried as Mrs Jane (Lindsay) at St James CofE Sydney. She had a second relationship with John (Boxley his second relationship) & produced 2children. She produced perhaps 6children in her lifetime.
