Thomas Livingston was convicted at the Bombay S.C. on 30/09/1847 for obtaining money under false pretence. 7yr sentence. Transported on the 'Phillip Laing' to Port Phillip, Victoria and then on the 'Scotia' to Van Diemens Land (Tasmania). Probation, 6mths, at Salt Water River. 47 days gained by extra work. 18/05/1850 hospital Died in Hobart Hospital 31/05/1859 (report of 04/06/1850)
