James Lochrie was 60 years old when convicted, along with his daughter Mary Lochrie/Clancy (George Hibbert 1834) and his son-in-law Terence Clancy (Bengal Merchant 1834) for uttering a forged note. James was described as "lately a broker in Glasgow, now Greenock", and on his court records was listed as a fruiterer. 3/8/1854: James died at the Parramatta Invalid Establishment aged 87.
