Wempress, and John Onions, for stealing twelve pair of shoes, &c. the property of John Withington, Shiftnal—Death Recorded. Ralph Lockett: John 1827 James Turner: John 1827 John Jones: John 1827 **Note - 3 John Jones on this voyage. John Wempress: Florentia 1827 John Onions: Prince Regent 1827 Born Ralph Massey in 1806, Hanley Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, he used his mother's maiden name of Lockett as an alias. 1839: TOL Parramatta 1846: TOL Raymond Terrace 31/2/1847: CP 1843: Married Elizabeth Garrad - Ralph was registered as Lockett - in the district of Black Creek; Bulwarra; Cloden; East Maitland; Hinton; Hunter District; Maitland; Morpeth; West Maitland - they had 3 children - all registered as Massey. Ralph Jnr. - no date of birth found. Thomas born in 1850 NSW BDM Thomas born in 1854 QLD. 6/8/1853: Listed on the Electoral Lists for Brisbane - in the County of Stanley. Listed as Massey. 22/7/1854: On the Electoral List for the County of Stanley - also listed is a John Massey (his brother??). July 1861: Lived in Fortitude Valley. July 1881: Ralph died, listed as 80 years old and was buried in Brisbane. His death is listed on the QLD BDM, Father Joseph Massey, mother: Mary. Brother John Massey was transported on the Manilus 1827.
