The Convict Indentures state that Bridget Loughran is 32 years old. She could read; religion Protestant; status widow and a native of Belfast. She was a house maid. Bridget was convicted of stealing clothes at Antrim on 30 June 1837 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 1 inches; complexion ruddy and freckled; hair dark brown mixed with grey and eyes hazel. Transport number 95. Prisoner number 94-38 Received Certificate of Freedom in 1845 (45/1414)
