Committed to Fisherton Gaol:—Samuel Love, John Love, and Moses alias James Wheeler, charged with having broken and entered the dwelling-house of Jacob Byliold  at Bradford, and stolen reticule basket, and other articles;  Salisbury Journal, 1 Jan 1838. Wilts Lent Assizes.-Sentences of the Prisoners concluded from our last: For life: Samuel Love, for burglary; ... Bath Chronicle, 22 March 1838 Salisbury.  During the week, the following  convicts have been removed from Fisherton Gaol, and put on board the Leviathan Hulk, Portsmouth, order for transportation:— Samuel Love and William Long—life. Salisbury and Winchester Journal, 2 April 1838.

An inquest was held at Port Cygnet, on the 11th instant, upon the body of Samuel Love, per Marquis of Hastings. Verdict--Natural causes. Tasmania Police Gazette, 17th Sept 1869, p150.
