Priscilla Loveridge was transported on the Royal Admiral, departing 30th May 1792 and arriving 7th Oct 1792 with 349 passengers.

The Royal Admiral was built at Lynn in 1828. Convicts were transported to New South Wales on the Royal Admiral in 1830, 1833, 1835 and to Van Diemen's Land in 1842. 1833 - Ship; Royal Admiral. Commenced fitting as a Convict Transport at Deptford on the 29 March. Surgeon Superintendent [Andrew Henderson] joined on the 3rd April. Guard embarked on the 13th. Sailed on the 17th and anchored in Kingston Barbour near Dublin on the 9th May. 220 convicts embarked on the 16 May 1833 and the ship sailed from Dublin Bay for Sydney on the 4th June and arrived there on the 20 October. Originally embarked with 221 convicts, 5 Died at sea, 1 was Relanded. 11 sick on shore, The convicts were described as 220 such wretchedly debilitated creatures ... (???) produced 2known childeren: 1.Mary (Loveridge/Hornsby) was born about 1776 & became a hawker/gypsy. She produced 1child before arrival in NSW, possibly with someone named (Hornsby). She was tried with her sister Priscilla & 1other for burglary Streatley Barlow Berkshire at Berkshire Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict with a child on 7 10 1792 after a voyage of 5months on ROYAL ADMIRAL. She had a second? relationship with Thomas (Dargin) whom she later married (on 17 11 1795 at St Phillips CofE Sydney) & produced 11children. She was Free by Servitude by 1800. After her husbands death in 1824 she continued operating pubs/Inns in Windsor. She is recorded in 1828 with some of her children as Innkeeper at Windsor. He is also recorded as arriving on MATILDA in the same Fleet. He was granted 30acres at Hawkesbury River in 1794. He enlisted in NSW Corps on 23 12 1801 as private at Sydney & was detached to (McArthur)s company. In 1805 He was detached to (Savory)s company & was at Newcastle from 1806. In 1809 he was detached to (Brabyn)s company, then 4Company. On 24 4 1810 he was transferred to 73rd Regiment. {Noted a William (Rayner convict ALBEMARLE 1791-again same Fleet) is recorded as dying on 23 2 1792 & buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta] ..William (Rayner) does not have an entry on this Website as yet. ..Priscilla (Loveridge) & William (Rayner) produced 1child: ..1.Prudence (Rayner) was born on 11 10 1798 & baptised on 24 3 1799 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. 1825 - Burial of Son - Thomas Goodman. Old Sydney Burial Ground - Inventory of Burials Name; Thomas Goodman Age; Infant Year of Burial. 30 Jul 1798 Remarks; On 4 1798. Priscilla Loveridge was committed for further examination on suspicion of murdering her infant son [Thomas Goodman] "by administering a certain Quality of Spirituous Liquor' There is no evidence to incriminate her. Pricilla was imprisoned for one month in goal for keeping a riotous and disorderly house and concealing suspected wrongdoers in it.
