On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. Convict Notes
John Lovett, for breaking into the dwelling-house of Barnaby Berry, of Redlingfield and stealing five 1£ notes. To be transported for life. Cambridge Chronicle, 13 April 1821 Saturday sennight the following convicts, under sentence of transportation, were removed from the County Gaol, Ipswich, and put onboard the Leviathan Hulk, at Portsmouth: — John Lovett, John Freeman, and John Butcher, for life; and James Baldwin, Benj. Nunn, Charles Thorpe, John Edgin, Thomas Germany, and John Palmer, for 7 years Bury and Norwich Post, 30 May 1821.
