From Dublin Ireland convicted of stealing wearing apparel 5' 1 1/4" florid complexion brown hair and hazel eyes New South Wales, Australia, Colonial Secretary's Papers, 1/5/1823. On a list of prisoners transported per ship "Sally" to Port Macquarie New South Wales, Australia, Colonial Secretary's Papers, 1823. On a list of runnaways apprehended. Was given 100 lashes and returned to Emu Plains New South Wales and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1825. A Government employee at Port Macquarie New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 5/8/1836 trial 8/10/1836 11/4/1839 on trial for stealing 1841 at Darlinghurst Gaol New South Wales, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 17/7/1827 Cert no 27/653. Had grown 2 1/2 inches in height since arriving. He was sent to Port Macquarie 11/4/1823 to serve the remainder of his sentence for running away from emu plains
