MONMOUTH SPRING ASSIZES. W. HOLLIS, ESQ. HIGH SHERIFF. The Commission for holding these Assizes was opened on Saturday evening last  ... DEATH RECORDED.— David Edmunds, William Lucas, and Isaac Pritchard with having stopped William Lewis on the public highway, in the borough of Usk, and robbed him of one silver watch, and 23s. Monmouthshire Merlin, 2 April 1831.

William with David Edmunds and Isaac Pritchard commited Highway Robbery. They stopped William Lewis a Weaver on the Public Highway and robbed him of a Silver Watch and Twenty-Three Shillings in Silver the property of William Lewis. Ticket of Leave 1841. Marries. Again tried and convicted to 7 years with 2 in Port Arthur. 2nd Ticket of leave in 1849. aged 37. 1850 wife dies. Remarries in 1851 leaves Tasmania, has 9 children and settles in country Victoria.
