Three men, named Thomas Lund, Joseph Greenhalgh, and Benjamin, were charged with a house robbery, it appeared that on Thursday morning when Mr, got up he found that his house had been broken open, and a great quantity of articles stolen. The prisoners were apprehended on the day following, and part of the property traced to their possession, ‘They were committed for trial. Gore’s Liverpool General Advertiser, 29 June 1826. Hulk Record Woolwich hulks Justitia. HO-9-4_4 Received 2 Sept 1826. Thomas Lund, age 15, Stg 12 towels, 12 table cloths, 3 table spoons & 1 pr boots, Tried at Liverpool QS 17 July 1826, 7 years. To Euryalus 30 April 1827. Richard Benjamin, age 16, Stg 12 towels, 12 table cloths, 3 table spoons & 1 pr boots, Tried at Liverpool QS 17 July 1826, 7 years. Died 7 Feb 1828.

Thomas Lund, age 15, Stg 12 towels & 12 table cloths, Tried Liverpool, 17 July 1826, 7 years, To NSW Albion, 24 May 1828. The prison hulk, the Euryalus, an ex-frigate of the Trafalgar fleet, was moored at Chatham. Over the twenty years that this hulk serviced juveniles, about 2,500 boys of fourteen and under passed through. There were also considerable numbers of older boys both in the juvenile hulk and distributed among the other hulks. From the Euryalus, boys were transported both to New South Wales and to Van Diemen’s Land.
