Real name appears to be Wableton. Listed as Wableton in the English newspapers of the day - was sent to Pentonville prison. James was listed as 17 years old on arrival. Native Place: Hull. Transported for 'stealing 30 pounds from a woman's pocket in a shop at York'. James was 5'1½" tall, illiterate, sallow complexion, dark brown hair, light blue eyes, pockpitted, scar on back of left hand, scar 3rd finger right hand, scars on breast. Step father: John Tuckey Mother: Jane at native place.
