ADM 101/1/9. Medical Journal of the Albion, male convict ship from 9 May to 14 November, by Thomas Logan, surgeon and superintendent, Folios 2-3: 19 May 1828; twelve convicts were received from the hulk Ganymede, and sixty from the Justitia, they had all been examined previously to their coming on board the Albion. They all appeared to be healthy, were clean in their persons and dressed in a new suit of convict's clothes. Folio 3: case no 17; William McKay, convict, taken ill at North Fleet; sick or hurt, catarrhus; Put on sick list 21 May 1828, discharged 22 May 1828 cured.




William Mackay, accused of having broken into, and stolen from, a house lately occupied by Elizabeth Pitbladddo, at Clishmaclash, in the parish of Kilrenny. and county of Fife, some silver and c5pper money. The indictment also specified a former conviction for theft, before the Sheriff of Fifeshire. The pannel pleaded Not Guilty. The crime was clearly proved by the evidence of Elisabeth Pitbladdo, and the men who seized the prisoner, while making his escape, and found the money on his person. The libel being restricted, the prisoner was unanimously found Guiilty. Pannel and the preceding pannel, Lying, were then both sentenced to fourteen years transprortation.
