Single woman; aged 30 yrs; house servant; 5' 1 1/4" height; ruddy complexion; dark brown hair; grey eyes. Native place of birth: VDL: Work services. 1843: stationed at Oatlands (mid-lands of VDL) 28 June 1844: Ticket of Leave granted. (Note: There was another Ellen Madden in the Colony at this time - per ship Lord Auckland)
