Liverpool Standard and General Commercial Advertiser Lancashire, England 8 Jul 1836 John Maddock, aged 21, for obtaining goods under false pretences, from Mr. Mander, and Mr. Wm. Duncan MacAndrew by forging the name of Mr. William Whitehouse. 19/8/1845: Uttering a forged cheque - committed for trial. 3/9/1845: Tried at Hobart Sup. Court - To be transported for seven years - To be sent to Port Arthur for two years. 21/5/1850: Permission to marry Ann Long (free). No registration found.
