Family connections for William (Maddox) are: MADDOX William (Maddox) was born about 1782. He was tried at probably Old Bailey, sentenced to 7years, held at London Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 9 1815 after a voyage of 5months on BARING. He was Free by Servitude by 1825. He was recorded in 1828 living with Alice (???/Buckley) at Parramatta whom he married, as Alice (???/Williams her third marriage), on 22 12 1828 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. [Some details taken from this Website] Alice (???/Buckley) was born about 1781/88, She married firstly (1of3) William (Buckley). She was tried for stealing linen cloth at New Bailey Courthouse Lancaster Quarter Sessions Lancashire about May 1814, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict with her children on 18 6 1815 after a voyage of 6.5months on NORTHAMPTON. She married secondly (2of3) Jacob (Williams) on 9 10 1818 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She was Free by Servitude by 1822. She produced 6known children-mostly girls-in her lifetime.
