Mary Maher was 20 years old on arrival in VDL and was transported for "Stealing Cottons". Mary was 4' 10 1/2" tall, brown hair, blue eyes, sallow complexion, red mark on nose, single. 29/12/1841 - 13/5/1842 - 18/7/1843: Permission to marry Richard Cook (Surrey 1829). 21/8/1843: Married - 2 children, Mary Ann Cook born 10/10/1845, Son born 31/12/1846 - both born Hobart. 28/9/1845: TOL 25/6/1847: Free Certificate.
