John MAHON was convicted for a Felony - bank notes, 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Minerva' 1817. Clear Conduct record in Colony. Died 12 March 1820 at Hobart, Tasmania. Aged 18yrs. Buried in St. David's cemetery, Hobart. Clergy - Rev'd R. Knopwood.
