1833, 12 November: George Males died in the Colonial Hospital at Hobart Town (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-30$init=CON31-1-30p99). 1833, 15 November: He was buried in the Presbyterian burial ground at Hobart Town, aged 25 and a labourer per England (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD34-1-1p139j2k).


1831, 17 October: Convicted for stealing wood; he had a previous conviction for stealing a sheep (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-30$init=CON31-1-30p99). 1832: On arrival in VDL, he was 25, a ploughman and married to Sarah who was living at his native place of Hertford (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON18-1-6$init=CON18-1-6p156).
