Sentence, 1 Year.  28 May 1821. List of prisoners transported to Newcastle per "Snapper" Peter Malone, Convicted by D. Wentworth, Esq, Sydney, 28 April 1821, Two years, Labourer, per Guildford (3), Original Conviction, Old Bailey, Ireland, June 1817, 7 years. --------------------------------------------------------- Police Office. On Tuesday, … Peter Malone, a prisoner belonging to the gaol gang, was also charged with assaulting a constable in whose custody he was, and thereby endeavouring to effect his escape ; which being clearly proved, he was ordered to be corporally punished with 50 lashes.
