The Proceedings of the Old Bailey 424. CHARLES MANNING was indicted for stealing, on the 7th of April , a wooden box, value 6 d. seven pair of cotton stockings, value 14 s. two cotton gowns, value 20 s. the property of Adam Finch .................... GUILTY . Transported for seven years . Tried by the first Middlesex Jury before Mr. Justice HEATH.
