Admitted to the Leviathan Hulk from Ipswich on 24 July 1835. Transferred to the convict ship Strathfieldsaye on 6 February 1836. 170914 Markwell Samuel - Strathfieldsaye 1836 8 April 1841 Newcastle gaol Gaol Entrance Books. State Archives NSW;Item: 2/2009; Roll: 757. Admitted to Newcastle gaol from Raymond Terrace for drunkenness and fighting.
