Feb 1813. List of convicts to receive conditional pardons or emancipations at the Derwent. Joseph Marshall, per Glatton, Life, Tried Nottingham GD, 23 July 1801. At Nottingham Assizes, … J. Marshall, for stealing a chesnut mare; … were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death. Denman, Sykes, and Bakewell , are left for execution; the others were reprieved. Bury and Norwich Post, 5 Aug 1801.
