Assigned to work services 1 Oct 1846: Absent, without leave. 1 mth hard labour at the Female Factory, Hobart. 27 Nov 1847: Delivered of a child, at the Female Factory, Hobart. The child died 8 Dec 1847. (ref. recorded on Conduct record) 7 Oct 1848: Drunk & obscene language. 3mths hard labour, Female Factory, Hobart. 7 May 1850: Ticket of Leave granted. 28 May 1850: Application for permission to marry - Martha Morgan (Lloyds) to John Glann (Equestrian). 22 July 1851: Application for permission to marry - Martha Morgan (Lloyds) to John Glann (Equestrian). Approved. 13 Aug 1851: Marriage - Martha Morgan, full age, spinster to John Glann, full age, bachelor. At Parish Church, New Norfolk, Tasmania, according to the rites of the Church of England & Ireland. (ref. 37/1/10 no. 876) 18 Nov 1852: Conditional Pardon approved. Parents were listed as both deceased. (ref. Orphan 922 SWD26/5) Martha Glann, nee Morgan, died 19 Aug 1860 at New Norfolk, Tasmania. Aged 39yrs. Cause - inflammation of the womb. Wife of a dealer. (Ref. 35/1/29 no. 841) Husband John Glann died 12 March 1861 at New Norfolk, Tasmania. Aged 40yrs, a Hawker. Cause - wilfully murdered by a gun shot wound, at Horse Shoe Bridge, New Norfolk. Martha MORGAN, along with Hannah Gibson, was convicted at Lancaster on 26 Dec 1844 for stealing.
