UK, Royal Navy Medical Journals, Ship: Fanny - 1833. Case No; 3 Name; Martha Thompson Age; 23 Disease; Cholera Date; 1 July, 7 am in the River Surgeons Notes; 6 pm. Was reported to me dead by the Nurse, but upon examination, I found that she breathed with less labour and with softer sound. Discharged; CURED; 13 July. This woman gradually recovered but had an attack of cold and shivering, followed with fever, which retracted very much her final recovery. --------------------------
