Jane, Margaret and Mary Cunningham and Bridget Rock were all transported on Duke of Cornwall to Van Desmans Land, arriving in 1850. In 1853 Mary Cunningham married convict Frederick Marshall who had arrived in Van Diemans Land on the Atlas on 24 August 1833. Mary is listed at Cascade Female Factory and at Brickworks depot. Details of Mary's birth and death dates are still being researched. Her convict records list her as aged 30 in 1849 but her marriage record lists her as age 2 in 1853. Mary and Fred were witnesses at her sisters marriage. The Cunningham sisters were illiterate so their surname has sometimes been recorded as Conyngham (phonetically the same) Fred & Mary had a Daughter Ann Jane Marshall who moved to Victoria in about 1887-8 with her spouse William Johnson and her two sons Frederick and Albert.
