George Mason was about 20 years old on arrival. Colonial Secretary Papers: MASON, George. Per "General Stuart", 1818 1822 Dec 7; 1824 Aug 9: On list of prisoners assigned (Fiche 3290; 4/4570D pp.81, 87) 29/7/1831: George Mason aged 33 with a TOL applied to marry Sarah Smith alias Clarke (Grenada) aged 44, had a TOL. No marriage listed on the NSW BDM. 1/2/1833: George Mason aged 34, TOL applied to marry Many Ann Owen, aged 19, Born in Colony - at Campbell Town.
