Prisoner discharged from HM Gaol & Houses of Correction, Hobart Town & Launceston during the week of the 20th July & the 24th July 1872. At Launceston, John Mason, per Lady Kennaway, F.S., tried at Torquay on the 10 Apr 1872 for idle & disorderly, served 3 months, native place Scotland, age 42 years, 5 feet 10 inches high, brown hair, 1855. Nearly bald on top of head. Tasmania Police Gazette, 26th July 1872, p124.
