Convict Notes
Kent Lent Assizes. Robert Mason was convicted of uttering a forged bill of exchange for £30, at Greenwich. Sentence not passed. Kentish Gazette, 19 March 1833. The following convicts were yesterday removed from the County Gaol, Maidstone and put on board Retribution hulk at Sheerness. Stephen Iggulden, Alfred Mancer, Robert Mason, John Grover, Stephen Jeffery, George Illman, Frederick Osborne —Transported for Life. Benjamin Skinner, Stephen Sharp and George Matthews— Transported for fourteen years. John Cole, William Parry, and Leonard Everest— Transported for seven years. Kentish Gazette, 29 March 1833.
