Place of origin: New Town, Lancashire 1832 - Robert Massey was sentenced to tread the wheel for fourteen days, for misconduct in his master's house. 1833 - 10 Jan 1833. Sentence extended 1 year [Robert Massey, was sentenced to have his original Sentence extended to twelve months, for gross insubordination in the service of Captain Bell, at New Town, who stated, that Massey appeared to be at the bead of all bis servants, and upon all occasions exciting them to be refractory and disobedient, although they had plenty of very article of food unlimited—that only on Wednesday five men had a weekly allowance of sixty pounds of flour, two pounds of meat, per day, a« much tea, sugar, and tobacco as they want, and ag much milk as they choose j yet these ungrateful men were in a violent state of disorder,] 1834 - 4 October 1834. Sentence extended 3 years [Robert Massey, their original sentence extended three years, for absconding.] 1839 - 12 months 1840 - 9 March 18 40. Sentence extended 18 months 1846 - Trial date: 1 Sep 1846. Offense: Burglariously breaking and entering the dwelling house of E.I.
