Trial at the Old Bailey, 25 June 1788. 434. JAMES MATTHEWS , WILLIAM WRIGHT , and WILLIAM REYNOLDS were indicted for stealing, on the 17th of June , six frocks, value 2 s. two pair of stays, value 2 s. two shawls, value 2 s. two aprons, value 1 s. the property of Thomas Hurst . The prisoner Wright was found with the things, and the other two prisoners were in company. ALL THREE GUILTY . Transported for seven years .
