(From our Correspondent.) There was but one case for adjudication on the 18th inst., Henry May, ticket-of-leave, for breach of the Hired Servants' Act, in absenting himself several times from the Long Pocket Boiling-down Establishment. The case being clearly proved, the Bench muleted him in the amount of wages due up to and for this day, directing him to return and fulfil his engagement, and cautioning him as to his future conduct, so as to save his ticket from being cancelled. 20/3/1850: CP 2/9/1854: COF
